Kids Club
Faith Lutheran is participating in a new, once a week program called Kids Club at a local elementary school. Kids Club is a free, after school program, similar to a mini-VBS where children play games, sing songs, and learn Bible lessons. Vacation Bible School
Faith’s week-long Vacation Bible School/Day Camp is held in early July each year, with the help of our Preschool leadership and volunteers from the congregation. Fun activities and games fill the days along with Christian-based lessons tied to the theme of the week. Water play, jump houses, crafts, singing, visits from our local fire department and animal shelters are just a few of the exciting adventures awaiting our young campers each day. Children ages four to eleven are welcome

Women of Faith
Our women’s ministry, the Women of Faith is a very strong and active group, supporting causes within our community and around the globe, in part with proceeds earned through their semi-annual Rummage Sale. Our Women of Faith remain one of our best examples of living a life of service to Christ.

Rummage Sale
Faith’s semi-annual rummage sale is organized by our Women of Faith. Through donations from the congregation, the rummage sale provides an assortment of useable clothing, housewares, games, appliances, books, and other lightly used items to our local community at a very reasonable price. Proceeds from these sales provide funding for a myriad of proposals and projects presented to the Women of Faith each year.

Creative Crew
Creative Crew is an informal meeting of creative-minded people working on various craft projects. Meeting once a month, members work on handicrafts such as crochet, knitting, cross stich, and quilting. The group tries to have a group project at any given time so anyone who drops in can participate. Some items created have been used to enhance worship, including banners, ornaments and other art works.

Over the Hill Gang

The Over the Hill Gang, a group of retired gentlemen, meet Wednesday mornings for coffee and fellowship, and to tackle various projects around Faith’s campus. Many of these gentlemen also attend the monthly Men’s Breakfast at a local restaurant for fellowship and a good meal. They remain a valuable asset to the congregation and our facility. Gentle spirits as well as grumpy old men welcome.
High School Youth Group
Our high school youth group provides a safe, non-judgmental environment where our youth can get together for fun and fellowship, welcome and meet new friends and build Christ-centered relationships. They typically meet Friday evenings for game nights and movie nights, led by our adult youth leaders. The youth also meet Sunday mornings following worship for bible study and to discuss topics relevant to today’s teens, from a Christian perspective. This group also faithfully attends the triennial National Youth Gathering.

Altar Guild
Faith’s Altar Guild is comprised of a group of dedicated servants of God with the responsibility of caring for the vestments, vessels, altar linens, and altar within our sanctuary. They are responsible for the beautification of the church prior to worship services. This includes the preparation of the elements for Holy Communion, creating flower arrangements, hanging banners, filling candles, and any other needs required to prepare the sanctuary for the celebration of entering God’s house in worship and praise. While these dedicated servants primarily work behind the scenes, the reverence of their efforts is both striking and appreciated.

Elders
Six elders serve Faith congregation, with the primary responsibility of providing spiritual and emotional support to the congregants, under the guidance of the pastor. The Elders assist, provide input, advise and counsel the pastor at his request. They assist the pastor during communion services as assistants, and regularly visit member shut-ins and those bound to bed.

Prayer Walks
Members of Faith regularly participate in neighborhood prayer walks, canvassing the neighborhoods and shopping areas around our church, praying for the families within the residences, our local businesses, and those individuals we encounter on our walks. All are welcome to join this meaningful ministry.

Music Ministries
Our church is happy to have three main music ministries. We have our own Christian rock band, Living Faith that has been a part of morning worship for more than 17 years. We also have a choir that encompasses a blend of adult and youth voices directed by David Englebrekston. Faith congregation is blessed to have its own bell choir, which adds a beautiful sound to worship on the occasions it performs.
